Jade and Ruby are a bonded pair of Green Cheek Conures that are just turning 2 years old. Their hatch dates are 3-31-2019 and 4-3-2019. They must stay together since they are bonded. Both of them have been DNA tested and they are Males. They really like to be out of their cage as much as possible. They chatter loudly when they are in the cage during day as if to tell you it’s time to get out. These guys are cute and playful and tons of fun to watch. Jade and Ruby can be cage aggressive meaning they don’t really like your hands in their cage but if you open the door they generally come right out. Green cheek Conures can be nippy and these 2 are no exception to that. They will step up but sometimes need some convincing. All birds can and will bite from time to time, Learning their body language is important to avoid getting a bite. Also being confident and not letting them intimidate you with their beaks which is what they do at times in true Green cheek Conure fashion. They do like to sit on your shoulder and hang out. It can be more challenging to build a relationship with Bonded pairs of birds. Jade and Ruby would do best with someone that has bird experience preferably Green Cheek Conure experience. Jade and Ruby are looking for a very dedicated owner willing to be there for the long hall and except them for who they are.
