Meet Packer! The ringneck that is sure to steal your heart! He is roughly 10 years old and very quiet, respectable, and neat. Most of his time in his foster home is spent outside of his cage, either hanging out on top of it or on a rope net hung from the ceiling. Like many ringneck parrots, he isn't very affectionate and does not like being pet or cuddled, but he really enjoys being next to people! He loves being on shoulders or just sitting next to you on the back of the couch. If he thinks you're not paying enough attention to him, he will "yell" at you a few times, but is surprisingly quiet. He steps up, accepts kisses on his terms, and loves to play with new toys. He does well with other birds, but is a very reserved and nervous kind of guy. His favorite food is nutriberries and he loves millet.
