Tookie is a female U2. She is around 11-12 and VERY small. She was rescued at around 3 years of age, she had a severe hormone imbalance from too much petting from her previous owner. It had stunted her growth, and she'd plucked most of her feathers. After two years of hormone shots, she started growing again, stopped plucking, and no longer requires shots. She has required beak trimming on a regular basis, but more access to toys and wood may help that. She is not aggressive, a bit shy, and can be a bit noisy although she doesn't talk. Because she is so sweet, people must resist the urge to cuddle her as it could be life threatening.
